Time Flies!

Whew! Is it November already!? My! Time sure has been flying right by! Next thing you know it’ll be Christmas, then New Years! Let me just take a moment to pause and let the stress settle in…***… okay, now I’m stressing! The salon has been busting with energy these last couple of weeks and blogging hasn’t been a top priority! And for that I apologize.

Now, Time to play a game I like to call ‘catch-up’. Let’s start with the newest bit first… We have two new certified Eufora educators in our midst!! Our very own Dylan and Seanie! They’ve been showing some interest in becoming educators for the line for awhile now and they finally got the chance to take the next step and go to boot camp! Dylan and Seanie went to San Diego California over the last weekend to attend a 3-day boot camp, where they learned all the in’s and out’s, and tips and tricks to becoming a great teacher.

When they finally got back they were filled to the brim with knowledge they couldn’t wait to share with us all, and we listened with open ears and eager minds! By the sounds of it they and an amazing time in California and can’t wait to start teaching other salons in the area all the fabulous reasons they need to carry Eufora, and believe me when i say there are a LOT of reason why they should!

All of us here at the salon are immensely proud of the two of them and we cant wait to see where this will take them! Go get ’em girls!

Ta ta for now!

Happy Tuesday!

Good morning everyone! I hope all of you had a fantastic spring break last week! Many of the Curls went on spring break as well! There were curls in Florida, Chicago, and San Antonio!! We all had a blast wherever we went, but I know we are all glad to be home. Getting back into the swing of things, I don’t have anything exciting to write about. So instead i’d like to share with you some motivational quotes and pictures.

Oh ‘HAPPY’ Day!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC St. Patty’s Day! I know the curls sure did! So do all of you remember the music video we did to ‘Poison?’ a while ago? Well. if you forgot, here it is!!

Now wasn’t that amazing?! Well I have some great news… WE MADE ANOTHER ONE! Yssterday, all the curls came into the salon and we got right down to making the video. We all had a fantastic time filming and we cant wait to see the end result! We were so fortunate to have Mitch from Colagrossi Studio come and shoot yesterday. He was FANTASTIC with all of us. He was so good with dealing with all of our many personalities and recording us when we weren’t paying attention. (That’s when the magic happens!) Although we don’t have the finished piece yet, we’d love to share with you many of the pictures and videos the girls took yesterday. The song we performed to was Happy, by Pharrell, and as you can probably tell, we are so happy to share it with you! So please enjoy these many pictures and videos!!

Welcome to The Curl!

Good morning everyone! We here at the curl hope you all have had a fabulous weekend! We are proud to announce that we have welcomed a new lovely lady into our salon! Even though she has been here since the end of January, we haven’t had time, until recently, to sit down and talk with her a little bit. Ladies and gentleman… Coleen Berghoff!

Coleen Berghoff

Here are a few questions we asked her to get to know her a little better čÖé

Q: So, Coco, to begin, tell us a little about yourself.

A: *laughs* “These questions are always the hardest. I am a free-spirited, fun, and adventure-loving 20 year old who is always trying to make others smile.”

Q: Why have you chosen this field to work in?

A: “Because i can bring people joy and i just love that!”

Q: When did you decided you wanted to become a cosmetologist?

A: “Honestly? I’ve wanted to do hair ever since I was 10.”

Q: What keeps you motivated about cosmetology?
A: “Definitely the continued advancement in education. I love learning and trying new things. Cosmetology is an ever-changing and developing industry.”

Q: Since you are in  constant contact and interaction with clients, how do you handle days when you are not in the greatest of moods?

A: “I always have to remind myself to smile. Life isn’t bad and this bad day is only temporary. These people chose to come to me and its not fair to them.”

Doesn’t she just sound like she fits right in here?! We have loved getting to know her these past couple months. She s a true curl at heart. Don’t just take our word for it, stop on in and welcome her! You will love getting to know her as much as we do!
